The following schedules are an overview. Nothing is set in stone; it all depends on the season. |
Saveur Languedoc Ateliers de Cuisine 5-day program
| Sunday |
Arrival at the airport or train station (see note). Transfer to the hotel. Welcome aperitif followed by
dinner.

| Monday |
We’ll meet a winemaker and his family. After a guided tour of his vineyard, we’ll enjoy a comprehensive
wine tasting followed by a lunch in his home. You will have time to relax in the afternoon before the evening cooking
class and dinner.

| Tuesday |
We begin with a leisurely stroll through Narbonne and shop at the bustling halles, the indoor market in
the center of town. We will enjoy lunch at a restaurant featuring local seasonal produce. On the way back
we will stop at one of La Clape wineries, a little-known appellation at the edge of the Mediterranean.
Free time before starting the informal evening cooking class and dinner.

| Wednesday |
Morning cooking class focusing on fish followed by lunch. Late afternoon cruise on the Canal du Midi
before dinner at a convivial wine bar in Beziers.
|
| Thursday |
We take a break from cooking and explore the picturesque fishing villages along the coast to sample
oysters and other Mediterranean delicacies. Late afternoon, we will travel to the St Chinian appellation
to meet a great winemaker and his family for a tour of his vineyard and the rural countryside of les
Hauts Cantons. Dinner at a nearby restaurant.

We’ll stroll through magnificent town of Pézenas and its many artisanal shops. We’ll lunch at one
of the town’s leading regional restaurant. We will stop at a winery located in the Côtes de Thongue
appellation on the way back. After some time to relax, we’ll conclude with the evening cooking class
and festive dinner. |

The fee for the 5-day program is 2.200 Euros based on double occupancy. It includes transfer to and from the airport or train station, lodging (6 nights), transportation, all tastings, cooking classes and meals. For single occupancy add 250 Euros.

3-day Ateliers de Cuisine

We’ll visit the historical town of Narbonne and its bustling and colorful halles, the indoor market
in the center of town. Lunch at a restaurant featuring local seasonal produce. On the way back we will
stop at one of La Clape wineries, a little-known appellation at the edge of the Mediterranean. The evening
cooking class and dinner will include a comparative tasting of several appellations around the region.

The fee for the 3-day program is 1.000 euros based on double occupancy. It includes transfer to and from the airport or train station, lodging (3 nights), transportation, all tastings, cooking classes and meals. For single occupancy add 125 Euros.

Note: To get to Beziers from Paris, you can either travel on the TGV to Beziers’ station or fly to Montpellier Airport. Low-cost airlines fly from several European cities, including London, to Beziers Airport on a regular schedule.

| TO ENROLL: |
A non refundable deposit of 800 Euros (550 Euros for the 3-day program) per person is required to confirm enrollment. |
| FINAL PAYMENT: |

The trip final payment must be received no later than 60 days prior the start of the program. If the balance is not paid on time, Saveur Languedoc reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
Should Saveur Languedoc cancel for any reason, all fees, including deposits, will be returned in full. The costs of any travel arrangements you may have made will however not be reimbursed.
Should you cancel, for any reason, 30 days prior the start of the program, Saveur Languedoc will fully reimburse your fee, minus the deposit. There will be no refunds for cancellation 29 days prior the start of the program.
